Once a month in San Francisco, the Flaskmob (Evan & Sabina Thompson) puts together this event that is just hard to describe. It's labeled as "photography walk", but what myself and the NTHGLS crew attended this past Sunday night was far from that simple. Perhaps the magnitude of this Sunday night's event was escalated for the 1 year birthday of Flaskmob, I don't know.
The future, good and bad is all welcomed. Reflecting on the past brings up moments in my life that I truly relish. Now flip that and I realize there's so much that has gone and passed, things I've never done, or places I've never been, the lack of venture and ambition, it stops me dead in my tracks. I want to do so much more than what I perceive in the distance. Im aging quickly, yet in uncertainty I coward behind time.
I woke up this morning wanting more than what I am. Wanting to fulfill my life with all that surrounds me, to finally live my life to its full potential. I hold so much within yet I know I'm scared to be rejected by failure, but it's time to try, time to live. I must go hard, that way I can stop asking myself what if? What if I tried?
Think about how few of the problems that held you back from your goals over the last few years actually matter now. Now think about how many actually really mattered then. You can’t change what you wasted your time on before, but you can change what you focus on now. Some people never realize their own power. If you want to get it done you gotta do it on your own. My team and I understand that shit now. Learning the whole process is harder, but really what’s easy?
It’s monday, a new week with new opportunities. Before the day ends find something you can do and do it. Stay hungry for knowledge and before we know we’ll be getting paid on mondays like it’s a friday. #HustlersLoveMondays #NTHGLS
You said that you're going to do something big or accomplish something truly great. Yet, you sit and wait for greatness to happen. Your dreams ain't gonna come knocking at your door. You gotta play the game if you want to win.
So what are you gonna do when you run out of excuses as to why you aren't pursuing your dream?

Five years ago to this date, we first registered as a business.
Five years later we've been able to somewhat establish Nothing Less as a growing entity in the streetwear community. It's very rewarding when someone reaches out our way to tell us they feel and understand what it is that we're doing.
It also startles me to even think we've been "doing this" for five years. In no way does it feel that long. In fact, i'm starting to find more fulfillment out of it now than back when we first started. And I know I speak for the team when I say it's been a very long road, but through the trials and tribulations we remain standing tall.
How long have you been pursuing your dream? It's time to start moving...
Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, IAMSU, J Boog, & Audiopush were just some of the names that occupied the 3 stages spread across the 6 blocks of Haight St.
I was fortunate to grow up in the bay area where the independent/underground hip hop scene is so rich with culture and being surrounded by that is what inspired some of the concepts and designs that we put out today.
Long before I could even drive, I developed a strong love for JDM classics. My admiration started riding shotgun in my brothers Datsun 240z and later personally owning both ’71 & ’74 Corolla’s. I was able to truly appreciate unique character of a rear wheel drive, 2000 lbs or less, smog exempt car. When I heard Historic J was bringing back its historic Japenese car gathering “Bayline 2014″, I had to mark my calendar. This years gathering brought out some of the best Japanese classic cars in the states.
With many discussions over the years and much anticipation of shooting our first lookbook, we were finally setup to shoot the first part of our "Irrelevant" collection. To say the least, I was thrilled.
